From the dance floor of DWTS to beauty entrepreneur, Peta Murgatroyd's journey began when she was met with an industry gap in self-tanners. Frustrated with the quality of self-tanners on the market, she was determined to create an at home tanning experience that could rival that of the professional spray tans she was accustomed to.


In 2015 Peta teamed up with an industry expert and a lab with over 40 years of experience, and got to work. Together, they spent 8 years perfecting formulas to create the ultimate self-tanning line that could take women from everyday wear to big life events - or even the big screen.

Peta needed the perfect self-tan, so she made one for everyone. And that’s how Peta Jane Beauty came to be.
